H1N1 INFLUENZA (SWINE FLU) VACCINE UPDATE

We have a very limited supply of H1N1 Mist vaccine in the Pediatric Department that we will begin distributing to patients aged 2 years to 5 years in two vaccine clinics this week. The first clinic will be the evening of 10/28/09 and the second will be the morning of 10/31/09. We will schedule the vaccine on an appointed basis. The number to call to make an appointment is 798-1557 and that number will be ACTIVE starting 10/28/09 during regular Pediatric hours of 9am to 5 pm. School aged children will be offered H1N1 vaccine as it is available through a program directed by NYS and the vaccine given at school. The supply for this vaccine is extremely limited and we are sorry that we cannot accommodate everyone at this time.
